HAIR/MAKEUP SERVICES
These are pros in the industry that work on headshots regularly and on tv/film shows and commercials. You can hire your own, just make sure they do good work.
Starting prices are: Men (short hair) starts $125 and up and Women (long hair) starts at $200 and up
This is not about glamming you up per se, its to make sure you look like your best self and can possibly save on editing which can potentially save you money.
Please feel free to reach out them to ask for their availability and rates for what you need. Provide them as much detail as you can for your session including hair changes, makeup changes, etc.
WARDROBE STYLING
If you need help coordinating with your wardrobe to help pick out outfits that will make you pop and stand out amongst others, I highly recommend working with my wife Christine aka @DressUpByChris on Instagram. There are others out there of course you’re free to work with.
She does zoom consultations to go over your wardrobe and help coordinate for each of your looks. If you need help shopping, for a fee she can personally go and purchase some clothing items to bring to the session which you can decide whether or not to keep. She's already being recommended by other photographers because she helps curate better wardrobe choices to make better headshots.

Same deal as above but this is for 2 people wanting to share a 2hr session together. This works best for low maintenance folks who can move swiftly. Ideally this is not your first headshot session. You both don’t need a lot of hair changes or makeup changes. You’re fully prepped to rock and roll.

What is a Look?
It is an outfit you choose to be photographed in. Nowadays things are leaned a bit towards specificity. We should be able to picture what role we can envision you playing by what you are wearing.
How Can I Prepare for My Session?
Do you homework and research! Plan out your wardrobe for each look, snap a photo and send them to me. This will help me get creative on how to shoot each look. Also I can help you make sure you get the best out of your wardrobe.
What Are Commercial Looks?
These are outfits/looks that are mostly aimed towards commercials on tv and/or print. But these can also be used theatrically as well. Generally happier. Think of what commercials you can be cast in. Verizon? Would you be the rep or the customer? Research commercials and see how they dress. Check iSpot.tv for commercials
What Should I Bring?
Clothes on hangers so they won’t wrinkle. Chapstick is essential. Stay hydrated so bring water. Also unless I say otherwise, bring extra wardrobe options just in case.
What are Theatrical Looks?
These are outfits/looks aimed to get you work on television shows and movies. Also think of genre of tv and film. Is it comedic or dramatic? See what shows you could be cast in and take notice of how they are dressed on those shows/movies.
Deposit?
I require a $50 deposit. This is mostly to protect me from no-shows. If you have to reschedule for any reason, we can credit that $50 towards the shoot as long as it's within a month. Just please let me know within 48hrs and not last minute.
